“A brick wall” of unintentional training

A problem with that instance of anxiety or anger you left unprocessed — 

no, it is not just a mental discomfort to overcome…
– nor its impact on your choices
– nor your body response (cortisol, heart rate, etc.)

The elephant in the room is 🧱

Every repetition of a destructive emotion lays another “brick into the wall” of its causes. The concepts (or rather cognitive errors) you invest in — strengthen biases and future unwanted emotions.

In the current economy 🔻

It is easy to start accumulating such negative training and exacerbate things.  So intentional Emotional Hygiene is paramount [to engage with reality].
